Our Priority: Safe, Low Stress Travel

Kittens travel best when plans are simple, calm, and timed correctly. We only approve travel for kittens who are healthy, eating well, using the litter box consistently, and confident enough to handle a change in routine. Travel arrangements are confirmed only after your reservation is in place and your kitten is close to the planned go home date.

Shipping Options We Offer

We offer three ways to get your kitten home. Availability depends on your location, the season, airline rules, and current schedules.

1) In Person Pickup

Pickup is the preferred option. You meet your kitten, receive all paperwork, and go over feeding, routine, and transition tips before leaving. Many families choose pickup even when driving several hours, since it keeps travel simple and predictable.

2) Flight Nanny Delivery

A flight nanny travels with your kitten in cabin and stays with the carrier at all times. This option is commonly used for longer distances within the United States. Your kitten is never placed in cargo. We coordinate the airport handoff details in advance so the transfer is smooth and calm.

3) Ground Delivery

Ground delivery is available for some routes through a trusted pet transport service or a dedicated courier option. This can work well for regional deliveries where flight schedules are limited. Route timing, stops, and vehicle conditions must meet our standards before approval.

Health Requirements Before Any Travel

Kittens must be cleared for travel before leaving our care. Each kitten must be bright, alert, hydrated, eating normally, and free of signs of illness. Vaccinations and deworming must be current for the kitten’s age. If a kitten shows signs of stress illness or needs additional time, travel will be postponed for safety. A safe delay is always better than rushing.

Health Records and Documentation

You will receive your kitten’s health records at handoff, including vaccination and deworming history. If additional documentation is required for your state or airline, we will tell you ahead of time. Any required veterinary travel document must be issued close to travel time, since many documents have a short validity window.

What Travel Includes

Every travel plan includes careful preparation and a travel ready routine.

Your kitten travels with:
Current food for the trip and first days at home
Care instructions and transition guidance
A familiar scent item to reduce stress
Health records and written health guarantee

Scheduling and Timing

Travel dates are planned around the kitten’s development and confidence, not just a calendar date. Final travel confirmation happens once your kitten is thriving and we can predict travel readiness. Weather can affect travel, especially extreme heat or cold, so timing may shift for safety. Holiday travel is possible, though it often costs more and requires earlier planning.

Cost and Payment

Shipping and delivery costs are separate from the kitten price unless stated otherwise in writing. Costs vary by distance, airline availability, travel nanny fees, and seasonal demand. A written quote is provided before anything is booked. Full travel payment is required before tickets, courier scheduling, or transport reservations are finalized.

Airport Handoff Details

For flight nanny delivery, we coordinate the exact meeting spot, time window, and identification process. You will be given clear instructions on where to meet and what to bring. Plan to arrive early, since airport timing can change. Kittens do best when the handoff is calm and quick, followed by a quiet ride home.

Receiving Your Kitten After Travel

A quiet room, fresh water, and a litter box ready upon arrival helps your kitten settle quickly. Keep the first day simple with gentle interaction and a familiar feeding schedule. A wellness exam with your veterinarian is required within the timeframe listed in your contract and health guarantee.

Shipping Limitations and Safety Rules

We do not ship kittens in cargo. We do not approve travel for kittens who are not thriving or who need more time to mature. We reserve the right to delay or cancel travel if conditions are unsafe, including severe weather, airline disruptions, or health concerns.
